Welcome to My Site!

Hi! I'm Lisa. I'm a lover of brand-new yearly calendars and planners, vision boards, checklists, sticky notes, and writing! I feel good when I can mark through to-do lists and tackle a long-awaited project. This 2024 summer started an era of packing up the 8-5 and bringing out a vision board for the second half of my life. Ok, not second half. Maybe final third. YIKES! So, BOUT TIME!

I am at that time in life between no longer needing to prove myself professionally, yet still wanting to dangle my toes in the work pool when I feel like it. I can take some earned time to enjoy life a little more and just do the things I want to do. And I have so many things I want to do.

I bring to you, The Sorted Affair, not to be confused with a "sordid affair." It's an opportunity for me to share what's happening on the other side of the grind and, hopefully, highlight what others are doing as well.  I will do my best to make it as steamy as possible with tales of home projects, event preps, life plans, The Art of the Yard Sale, and affairs of the heart. 

The first few blogs will detail the home remodel that has consumed our life (invited) this summer. I can't wait to share with you who did what, where we found that, and when we did it. I hope you will follow along! xoxo
